We all learned about remote and adaptability, during the pandemic and how work from home became the norm. We found ourselves challenged by taking on a project that had to be designed and presented entirely remote.
Our client lived in NYC in 2020 and purchased this beautiful home without seeing it. They sought out a designer to help create a home they couldn’t wait to live in and we were happy to help! We worked entirely remote for this one. Our meetings took place via Zoom and we presented digital presentations. It was difficult for the client to not be able to feel the fabrics and see the finishes in person, but they put their trust in us and we were committed to deliver!
As a new home owner, being part of the design process on site can be overwhelming in itself. Can you imagine doing it from afar!? So, we wanted to give our client the joy of creating a new home without adding any stress to the already difficult task of not being able to enjoy the process hands on. With careful hours behind the scenes, we created an easy design process. Sourcing options to present, along with easy to envision digital presentations, we were able to succeed!
Once the design was complete and presentations approved, we did all of the purchasing and install before the client came home. Our client drove from NYC to their new home on the West Coast! We were committed to give them a warm welcome into a fully furnished, move in ready home. And I’m happy to say, we succeeded!
Michelle provided the ideal top tier interior design experience. My family was relocating from the east coast to Washington during COVID 19 and had purchased a house sight unseen. Michelle went far above and beyond the typical duties of an interior designer to make sure the house we purchased was “home” before we arrived. She worked closely with us to understand our lifestyle and design tastes and delivered impeccably and spot on the budget we had set. She provided a true white glove service (including managing our household movers to ensure all of the furniture and wall art we brought with us was placed perfectly) and made what could have been an incredibly nerve wracking and frustrating experience painless and even fun. We had the great pleasure of walking into a fully furnished and decorated “model” home the day we first saw our house in person with every detail taken care of from furniture and accent placement, to art on the walls, to soap and candles in every bathroom and an unpacked coffee pot with fresh coffee and snacks in our fridge. After living in the space for a few months we couldn’t be happier or more comfortable in the home Michelle designed for us. I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough as she is both talented at her profession and a genuinely wonderful person to work with. Thank you, Michelle!
