Looking back on this laundry room renovation. We had so much fun picking out the bold floor design, whimsical wallpaper rich paint color and that gorgeous copper sink! But all design projects begin before those fun elements that come together to make a room complete.
We start with the client’s overall vision of the room and how they would like the room to function. From there we begin the design phase and collaborate with the contractors. From plumbing and fixtures, to the layouts and floor plans. We are busy behind the scenes before the exciting presentation with our clients.
We meet with the contractors to discuss the layout of plumbing and electric – where is that washing machine going to go, where do we need our electrical for recessed lighting and a stylish fixture, what walls are coming down. We work alongside our trusted contractors to create custom cabinetry and countertops and wall fixtures. Throughout this process, we are never losing sight of our client’s vision for their space. We are often problem solving during this phase of the design process in order to make our client’s dream come to life.
After all, that’s why we are here!
Despite the fact that this was a laundry room in need to function, first and foremost, we still wanted this to be a space our client felt happy to be in. A combination of styles came together to create a functioning laundry room with a lot of style!
