Setting a table that WOWs with holiday cheer…

Yes, it is holiday season! Thanksgiving is near and it’s time to begin the hustle and bustle of preparing for the gathering of family and friends. November really kicks off the many opportunities I have where I can dive into my gratitude for the many things in my life. In the kitchen or around the table, I love to celebrate these blessings with those dearest to me.

Something I truly love is the opportunity to provide a space where I can invite my loved ones and share a wonderful meal around the that dinner table. I like to take some time to prepare for this joyful time. Setting the table is my favorite place to be!

The table setting really does set the mood and provides just the right amount of atmosphere to give your guests that warm holiday welcome you’ve hoped to share. Let’s get straight to the table and all the fixings. If you haven’t set your table yet and need some direction on where to start, here are some of my tips and favorite go-to’s:

Thanksgiving Kind of Table

I love adding a little bit of life to my table with greenery or fresh cut flowers. Can you really beat a beautiful arrangement of fresh blooms?! It’s always fun to add a few decorative elements that show off the holiday spirit. Fall tones, pumpkins and natural elements (like pinecones and feathers!) are the perfect combination for a Thanksgiving table.

Christmas Feels Table

Holly, pinecones, warm and glittery palette and even Christmas decor are my go-to elements for a Christmas table. Don’t shy away from the themed dishes and plates. I love a good whimsical look (like Vietri’s Lastra Holiday Collection!)

Set the Table for the Season

For a table that will take you through the holidays, I like to include something natural and something sparkly. Neutral cloth napkins can be jazzed up with different napkin rings or accents to bring in the holiday cheer. And to set the mood with a warm and welcoming atmosphere…let’s not forget, candles, candles and more candles.

Ready, set – now it’s time to entertain and stay joyful! Need more than table setting tips? Let’s talk!

Kindly,
