We are so excited to finally share this project we recently wrapped up in Sammamish, WA! Our goal was to give our clients a home that fit right in with this idyllic location. We helped them update and transform their 1990’s Pine Lake waterfront home. Light and bright was one of our goals! With warm wood tones and natural stones used throughout the home we gave them a classic and timeless look. Including a stunning chef’s kitchen and many modern touches.
The hidden pantry is the best kept secret to this design! A full walk in pantry sits behind what looks like cabinet doors. The flush cabinet doors give the wall a seamless and simple look when the pantry doors are closed. See below.
Before-
The original kitchen layout had the sink facing the yard and driveway and the cook top in the island. (see below). We designed a layout that allowed the sink to take full advantage of the lake views, since this is a high use area and our clients will spend a lot of time here during the prep and clean up phase of cooking. We also included a large island with plenty of storage. A prep sink and a second dishwasher for entertaining and holidays with the many additional dishes. The large island also allows counter height seating. A perfect space for our clients to enjoy the morning paper and a cup of coffee, all while taking in the amazing views of the lake.
Before pictures- We relocated the sink and appliances to allow for all the views to be seen and give them a modern chef’s kitchen with luxury appliances!
We took down a full wall between the kitchen and family room to create an open kitchen to great room floor plan.
We included a wet bar/second kitchen on the lower lake level of the home for easy prep and clean up for outdoor living and entertaining.
Bathroom updates with gorgeous marble mosaic tile and porcelain tiles were used throughout.
The end result….a home that our clients just love! And that is our end goal on every project! To see the full project, visit our portfolio to see more!
