This is our favorite part of the process: coming together with the architect, builder, client and all the trades on the project. Everyone has a specialty area that they are educated and skilled in. Together, those individual skills and knowledge sets can create a unique and high quality home for you.
With years of experience working on new home builds and renovations we have developed our four-step process that brings what we do best in line with your builders expectations and timelines.

Our Four Phase Interior Design Process
Getting to Know You
Your home should be an authentic reflection of you. Our process always starts with getting to know you. We want to know how you’d like to feel and function in the space, and what kind of results you’d like to see from our work together.
During this big-picture conversation, we discuss design direction and your style, how you want to feel in your completed space, scope, budget, our process and our fees. This phase is also where you get to share your dreams for your space.
Conceptual Design Phase
Next, we review plans with the client, the architect and builder. Team collaboration is key to design build success. We get to know the client so we can select the best materials and finishes for the home and client’s lifestyle.
We gather inspiration images and envision the client’s home from all angles. We collaborate with the team to detail and execute the vision of the home.
We create elevations and furniture layouts to detail out electrical and placement. We select the finishes and materials to present to the client.
Detailed Design Phase
During this phase, we finalize materials, visit Stone Warehouses to hand select your stones, and create detailed drawings and finish schedules to assist the builder to execute the designs.
Construction begins and we are on site weekly communicating with trades and vendors on the clients’ behalf.
Detailed Design Phase-Furniture
With construction underway, we take design to the next step and create a furnishing investment estimate. Furnishings are carefully curated to the vision of the home.
We create detailed furniture layouts for each room with curated pieces for the space. All selections are presented on scaled inspiration boards.
This phase also includes a presentation of each fabric, finish and detail. We create detailed proposals of all items for client approval.
Construction and Execution Phase
When it’s time to bring it all together, you can relax knowing that we’ve thought of everything and are absolutely on top of each next step.
During the installation process, we’ll communicate closely with your builder and be your eyes and ears on-site. We plan and schedule for furniture installations upon completion of the home so it is move in ready for you!
