I hope your new year is off to a great start! 2017 is sure to be a full and exciting year for me, both in my business and my personal life. I’m excited about many projects I’ve got in the works as well as my oldest son graduating from high school this June AND my husband and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary this summer! A big year for sure.
And speaking of exciting……I’m excited to talk about Pantone’s 2017 color of the year…….GREENERY, also called Pantone 15-0343. This fresh and vivacious color is anticipated to dominate the fashion world, beauty and interior design trends. I doubt it will disappoint!
Acccording to Pantone:
Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate.
Love the various tones and shades to create layers or subtle pops of the green in these rooms. You can be bold or understated. What would you choose?

Green can contrast and compliment many colors….so depending the amount of pizazz you want, go for it! Bring it in your rooms with fresh greens in a vase or candles. Accent pillows and art work are both great ways to bring in a pop of color and interest without going crazy or committing to a green sofa.
Pantone also says, “Greenery is nature’s neutral. The more submerged people are in modern life, the greater their innate craving to immerse themselves in the physical beauty and inherent unity of the natural world. This shift is reflected by the proliferation of all things expressive of Greenery in daily lives through urban planning, architecture, lifestyle and design choices globally. I’m sure we’ll be seeing of lot this color in 2017.
