Pantone announced it’s 2023 Color of the Year – Viva Magenta – and it’s a bold one! Pantone describes this color as “unconventional shade for an unconventional time, Viva Magenta is a signal of strength, inclusivity, and self-expression.”
I love the idea of walking strong into 2023 – not just with color! Let’s explore this beautiful jewel tone. If you’re looking for a pop of color in a neutral space – do it with a throw pillow, artwork or decorative accents. You’d like to add a bold touch without overpowering a space, find a fabric print with a touch of color for window treatments, a rug or even an accent chair.
If you’re ready to commit to making this color the anchor of a space in your home, but don’t want it to be the defining factor of a large room – try the powder bath or an accent wall in a bedroom. The powder bath is one of my favorite places to go bold with color or pattern!
