Color Crush: Hot Pink!

Color Crush: Hot Pink!

Hi All!

Last months’ crush had us blushing. All things pink, on the sweet side. This month, I’m feeling slightly more bold than the average day and turning things up a notch or two with Hot Pink! There is no doubt that this shade is show stopper and brings a lot of WOW! wherever it is used, and I’m here to reveal this color can be more than that. Hot Pink has a personality like no other and can liven up a space with chic, confidence and class. It can be used as an accent to add a modern touch to a timeless piece of furniture, or it can be used in all of its glory upholstering an entire chair. It can be a lamp or a piece of art, or a simple throw pillow to layer with softer tones and textures. A little tip: Too much of the same color can be overwhelming, and in this case, it can be an eye sore. So, remember to use it in moderation.  Here is how I am loving it –

Color Crush Hot Pink

Blended with multiple colors in a modern piece of art. Used in a room with a neutral palette, this would be the perfect focal point.

Luxe velvet texture on throw pillows. Like a fun stripe with tassels or a geometric print with an ikat influence. As I mentioned before, layered with softer tones, these would add a punch of color to a sofa. Or, if you are leaning more towards the bold side, layer it up with some jewel tones.

If you’re ready to commit to this vivacious color and looking for the perfect shade of Hot Pink, then Benjamin Moore’s Peony is a good start.

A natural weaved basket brings a global flair with gorgeous texture and bold color.

Talk about luxe! Designer’s Guild never fails when it comes to bright and beautiful colors. This ombre rug is more than just a pretty sight, with a particular weave and composition, it is also durable. And you know how much I love durability in the home!

For just the slightest touch, a vase with faux flowers. A simple pink peony will do!

A gorgeous agate accent in varying shades of pink. Tone on tone for the win!

What is your favorite shade of pink? I’d love to share your color crush!

Kindly~Michelle
