Fall is one of my favorite seasons to refresh a few things around the house and in my wardrobe. There’s something about the cooler weather that makes me want to bring out the cozy textures, add a little richness to my surroundings, and find a few new pieces that make everyday living feel special. And of course, a little fall shopping never hurts!
This season, I’m loving the beautiful mix of warm neutrals, chocolate browns, deep burgundy, and rich textures we’re seeing in both interiors and fashion. I’ve pulled together a few of my favorite looks and finds for the home, the closet, and those upcoming fall gatherings. Some are classic investment pieces, while others are simply fun ways to welcome the season.
Cozy Layers for the Home
When fall arrives, I don’t feel the need to completely redecorate. I love making a few thoughtful changes that bring a little extra warmth and texture into a room. A beautiful velvet pillow, a soft throw, or an interesting decorative accent can make a space feel refreshed without changing everything you already love.
This year, I’m especially drawn to rich chocolate browns, muted greens, and touches of burgundy mixed with warm ivory and natural materials. I love how these colors work together, especially when paired with interesting textures like mohair, velvet, wood, and aged brass. They’re beautiful for fall but versatile enough to enjoy throughout the year.

The Fall Wardrobe Edit
My approach to fall fashion is pretty similar to how I approach interiors. I love beautiful materials, classic pieces, and a few unexpected details that make a look feel fresh. This season, suede jackets, rich brown leather, cozy knits, and tailored silhouettes are catching my eye.
A great jacket is one of my favorite pieces to invest in because it can completely change an outfit. Pair it with jeans and loafers for a casual afternoon, or dress it up with tailored trousers and a beautiful handbag. I’m also loving the deep burgundy accessories we’re seeing this season. They’re a fun alternative to black and look fabulous with cream, camel, navy, and chocolate brown.
Here are a few pieces I’d happily make room for in my closet!

Gather Around the Table
Fall is also such a wonderful time for entertaining. Whether it’s a casual dinner with friends or a larger Thanksgiving gathering, I love setting a beautiful table that feels welcoming without being overly formal.
This season, I’m drawn to natural linens, warm metallic finishes, interesting serving pieces, and beautiful glassware. I especially love mixing classic dinnerware with something a little unexpected, like amber glasses or sculptural candleholders. Add fresh seasonal branches or a simple arrangement of greenery, and you have a table that feels special without a lot of fuss.
And if you’re heading to someone else’s home, a beautiful serving board or set of linen napkins makes a lovely hostess gift. Practical, stylish, and something they’ll actually use!

I hope these finds inspire you to enjoy a little fall refresh, whether that means adding something beautiful to your home, updating a favorite outfit, or inviting a few friends over for dinner. You certainly don’t need to change everything with the seasons, but sometimes one or two special finds are all it takes.
Happy fall!
Kindly,
Michelle
