Welcome to our latest design project—We are so excited to share this home with you! We love the outcome, but more importantly, we love that our clients LOVE their new home. That is always the greatest compliment we can receive. And for Me, it’s the purpose behind the work we do at MYID. My team and I always circle back to “will our clients love this?” “Does this meet the design and function the client needs and desires?” If not, then we fine tune a design until it does!
So, back to this project…a beautiful beach house nestled along the scenic coastline of Washington state. This home effortlessly blends rustic charm with modern sophistication, creating a relaxed, welcoming space where natural elements meet contemporary style. Coastal Calm Meets Modern Design
From the moment you step inside, the home’s natural light floods every room, instantly setting a calm and serene mood. We made sure to emphasize this openness by allowing the views of the coast to take center stage, while balancing it with cozy furnishings that invite you to unwind. The color palette throughout the house is neutral with pops of blue and earthy tones, reflecting the beach’s natural beauty.
The Heart of the Home: A Kitchen with Personality
The kitchen is one of the standout features of this beach house. We opted for bold, blue cabinets as the focal point, bringing a sense of playfulness and modern flair to the otherwise rustic design. The combination of natural hardwood cabinetry elsewhere creates warmth and texture, perfectly complementing the beachy atmosphere.
Adding to the personality of the space is a one-of-a-kind tile backsplash. The unique tile pattern not only enhances the kitchen’s visual appeal but also ties together the mix of materials, creating a cohesive yet distinctive look. With modern appliances and ample storage, this kitchen is as functional as it is beautiful—a true heart of the home.

The living room reflects the homeowner’s desire for a space that feels both modern and comfortable. We combined sleek, contemporary furniture pieces with softer, inviting fabrics, perfect for lounging after a day on the beach. The blend of natural wood tones, mixed textures, and ocean-inspired accents make this room a place where you can truly relax, while still being surrounded by thoughtful design details.

We’re incredibly proud of how this project came together. The rustic-modern balance, abundant natural light, and thoughtful use of materials have made this beach house a relaxing escape. We know our clients will have many family gatherings and create memories for years to come!
