This luxury Bellevue penthouse project is complete! Our client wanted a warm and inviting home with pops of color and a little edge. Easy-care was also a priority since this is a second home. They bought the penthouse in late 2020 as the coronavirus still had us working remotely, with limited access and masks on.
We worked with our flooring and wallpaper installers to give the floors and bathroom an updated look. We also selected an ivory marble tile to update and warm up the backsplash in the kitchen. A classic chandelier at the dining room brought a touch of timeless design to our modern aesthetic.
Then we worked with our design resources and furniture makers to create, make and install this home in a fairly quick turn around time. Especially given the long lead times and supply chain demands that have become side effects of the pandemic shut downs.
One of our favorite decor elements was the fabric – all the color, texture and BOLD geometric added an extra touch of luxury to the space and made it that much more vibrant. Kelly Wearstler’s-District fabric took center stage accompanied by a lovely textured fabric, Stigma/Water from Kravet.
Along with some of the fabric, we selected upholstered pieces from Kravet and a custom made ottoman through Designer Furniture Galleries in the Seattle Design Center. The accent tables, stools and accent pieces throughout were all sourced through our wonderful designer lines.
We couldn’t pass on this gorgeous, whimsical wallpaper from Schumacher. It adds a touch of whimsy without taking away from the luxury.
We are so thankful for a client who was a joy to work with. They gave us creative reign over the project and had the patience necessary to complete a pandemic project.
