Hi All!
To my fellow parents – it’s time to celebrate our growing children as they graduate another year. My how time flies! Before you send off your special graduate on a new adventure, it’s time to throw them a much deserved bash! As a proud Mom, this is one of my favorite parties to host. I find a lot of parties can be stressful to plan, but this is one I find so much joy in planning. Whether you’re going all out or keeping it intimate, here are some simple ideas and inspiration to get your creative hostess juices flowing:
A simple, yet stylish banner hung over a table is an expensive way to add a fun focal point.
For the DIY-er – a balloon chandelier with a personal touch. Attach memorable pictures to the end of balloon ribbon to create a fun backdrop behind the food table. Ask your guests to pick one to sign and add a personal message for your grad.
Who doesn’t love a little bit of mood lighting? String lights in the backyard to create an intimate party space without the need to decorate the whole yard.
Any fellow Soccer Moms out there? I love this idea for a themed tablescape!
For a little reminiscing, a Memory Jar is a sweet addition. Have your guests write a sentimental note or a special memory and place it in the memory jar. These will be sweet treasures for you grad as they head off on their new adventure.
Decor and food aside, it will be a day to remember for all!
