Thanksgiving. One of my favorite holidays and it is fast approaching. I can’t believe we’re near to celebrating Thanksgiving! How fast 2023 has already flown by. However, I am so grateful this special holiday is just around the corner. Now that I have children who have flown the nest, except for my youngest, holidays like this are more special than ever as it brings us all together.
Playing catch up on all of their experiences away from home and reminiscing on memories we experienced as a family fill me with such joy. Few things make me happier as a mother than the opportunity to provide home cooked meals for my family. My love language is filling their hearts with love and their bellies with home cooked meals. ☺️
After the menu has been set and the meal prep begins, setting a beautiful tablescape is next on my list. Whether we have an extended family gathering or it’s just the 5 of us – setting the table with love and style is always a must for me. This year, I may add a few new favorites to the table! During my search for an item or two, I found myself drawn to more than I bargained for.
