Color Crush: Red, White and Blue

Color Crush: Red, White and Blue

Hi All,

The 4th of July is right around the corner and I thought I’d give it a bright and colorful welcome. We’re going to do something a little different this week… we are going to crush on more than one color. We’re going all in on the Red, White and Blue! Nothing speaks patriotic like that trio of colors.

Outdoor entertaining is a staple when it comes to Summer, wouldn’t you agree? I mean, who doesn’t love a little bit of fun in the sun, followed by refreshments?! Whether you love the great outdoors solo on the back porch with a magazine or a yard full of family and friends, here is some inspiration on how to spice up your patio and al fresco dining table…

Redwhiteandblue

A modern take on the traditional adirondack chair. / A vase of bright flowers (bonus tip: a vase of faux flowers can be transported from the living room table to the outdoor dining table). / Polka dots make everything sweeter, especially these dessert plates. / Cocktail napkins with tassels? Yes, please! /  Can you believe this cute fish plate is not pottery? Melamine is the way to go for outdoor (kid-friendly) entertaining. / A chic pitcher filled with water and fresh lemons is a chic way to stay hydrated. / Every patio needs a garden stool! / A classic cabana stripe always adds a perfect pop. Try it with pillows. / Go bold with your serving ware! / A woven indoor-outdoor rug can lay the foundation for a vibrant outdoor entertaining space.

Happy 4th to all! May it be a filled with family, friends, fun and lots of color!

Kindly~Michelle
